PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image information processing unit for a facsimile equipment or the like in which the size of paper for output of received image information is unified and the image information is printed out while the size of the received image information is reproduced with fidelity. SOLUTION: The processing unit is provided with a paper storage section 12 that stores paper sheets for print-out of received image information by sizes (such as B5, A4, B4) and by directions (longitudinal/lateral directions), sensors 14-1-14-3 provided to banks 12-1-12-3 to sense the size, the direction and the presence of the stored paper sheets, a page memory 2 that stores the received image information in the unit of pages, and a plotter 3 that prints out the image information stored in the page memory 2 on paper. Based on the sensing result by the sensors 14-1-143, whether or not the paper of the same size and the same direction as the received image information is stored in the paper storage section 12 is discriminated, and when the paper of the same size and the same direction as the received image information runs short, printing is not conducted on paper till the paper of the same size and the same direction as the received image information is supplemented. |
