PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for deciding an affine transformation coefficient in which calculation is simple and which stably calculates an affine transformation coefficient even when the precision of area extraction processing is not good. SOLUTION: The data of two sheets of images I and I' which are photographed by a camera 1 are given to an image processor 2, and up to secondary moment values of gray level information of the two images I and I' and the primary moment value of a pixel coordinate are calculated, a linear equation system whose affine transformation coefficient is unknown is derived from each calculated moment value, the geometrical transformation relation between the two images by solving the linear equation system and an affine transformation coefficient is decided. |
