PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent failure caused by camera shake by inhibiting the operation of a camera by actuating the release button of the camera so that the operation may not be performed and permitting only the release signal of a remote control device in the case of a long shutter time photographing mode and a specified mode such as macrophotographing. SOLUTION: In a mode in which a dark background is photographed in a long shutter time such as a night scene mode, a fireworks mode and a slow synchro mode or in a mode in which the depth of field is shallow such as a macrophotographing mode and a close-up mode; there is possibility that the failure is caused in photographing by the camera shake and the divergence of focus in the case of following ordinary procedure. Therefore, when such a specified mode is selected, a remote control reception circuit 7 is actuated to attain a remote control input standby state and set so as not to receive the operation input of the release button of the camera. Then, the input of the release signal from a remote control transmission circuit 8 is waited for. Thus, the detection of the input of the release button on the camera side is inhibited only in the specified mode and the operation is automatically switched to remote control release. |
