<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a device, which locks the phase of a local oscillator which is used in an LMDS(local multi-point distribution service) transceiver or the like and has a high frequency, with a low cost. SOLUTION: The LMDS transceiver is provided with a transceiver driving mixer 44 which mixes the output of a transceiver oscillator 32 with the output signal of an intermediate transmission oscillator 38 to generate an intermediate phase detection signal for the purpose of locking the phase of the output of the oscillator 32 to a signal of a reference signal source 42. A phase lock loop chip 48 receives the intermediate phase detection signal and the reference signal to lock the phase of the transceiver oscillator 32 to the reference signal source. Since the intermediate transmission oscillator 38 is used to convert down the frequency of the transceiver oscillator 32, an inexpensive PLL chip can be used for phase lock of the transceiver oscillator 32.</p> |
