PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink capable of forming a liquid crystal color filter having an excellent printed shape such as pattern surface flatness without any occurrence of piling, as well as a method for manufacturing a liquid crystal color filter using the ink. SOLUTION: This ink for liquid crystal color filter contains a resin, a coloring agent and liquid mold releasing component, and the liquid mold releasing component is made of an organic solvent. Also, a difference between the SP value (dissolution parameter) of the organic solvent and the SP value of the ink without containing the liquid releasing component is between 0.3 and 3.5. Also, a method for manufacturing the liquid crystal color filter is that the recess of a recessed plate is filled with the ink and then the ink is transferred to a blanket. Then, the ink is transferred from the blanket to a transparent substrate, thereby forming an ink layer on the surface of the transparent substrate. |
