The control unit comprises a nozzle which has a flow passage (3) which swivels around a vertical axis (2). Its outlet opening has an upper nozzle flap (10) which is U-shaped in cross-section and is partially in the arc-shaped. The unit further comprises a lower nozzle flap (12) which also has a U-shaped cross-section but formed straight, and a reverse flow flap. The upper and lower nozzle flaps are interconnected by a pivot point (11). The flaps are steplessly swivelled into their operating positions by actuating components.
