<p>The body (2) of the axle is preferably plastics, while wheel rings (4) turn in ball-bearings (11) at its ends. Plug-in type metal contact pins (5) on the body are in electrical contact with the ball-bearings, and protrude, preferably in the radial direction, to supply the current. They can be L-shaped, with one arm extending in the axial direction to the ball-bearing. It can so extend into the portion of the body accommodating the latter that this fits over it and is in contact with it, and can be accommodated in a groove(9) in the body.</p> |
