PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remarkably improve the use efficiency of a polishing member so as to remarkably reduce the polishing cost by shifting the relative positions of a fixing jig board and a polishing member. SOLUTION: A polishing board 25 is revolved by designated amount of eccentricity by a revolving motor 17, and rotated by a rotation motor 11. Each rod- like member W has an end face pressed to a polishing member through a fixing jig board 27. Thus, the polishing locus of the center position of plural rod-like members W in the polishing work is formed annularly on a part of the polishing member on the polishing board 25. Subsequently, the position of the fixing jig board 27 to the polishing board 25 is changed little by little to perform polishing, thereby forming plural polishing loci. Thus, the substantially whole surface of the polishing member is used on the average. |
