<p>Antistatic tyre has a tread (3) two sidewalls (7) and two annular shoulders (4), in which the tread and side walls are formed of respective first and second mixes (MP1, MP2) and the tread has at least an annular portion which is electrically conducting and has an electrical resistivity of less than 109 ohm cms. The electrically conducting portion comprises an element (8) formed from a mix (MPC) which under low strain has the same mechanical characteristics as the first mix (MP1) and under high strain a stiffness or modulus about equal to the stiffness or modulus of the second mix (MP2), in the cured state.</p> |
