Perforated sheeting, screening against insect(s), sun rays

A sheet used as protection from insects and against increased thermal radiation, is perforated, the holes having a diameter of 250-5000 mu m, preferably in the range 500-1250 mu m and, if appropriate the sheet has a reflective metallic coating. Preferably, the sheet is a thermoplastic polymer, with a thickness of 10-500 mu m, preferably 20-100 mu m. The degree of perforation is 5-60%, preferably 10-50%, and especially 15-40%. The perforations can take the form of patterns or alphanumeric characters, and included in the sheet are agents protecting against: ultraviolet and infra red, ageing, oxidation and ozone.
