PURPOSE:To force and make mandatory the wearing of a helmet by making a misfire control for an internal combustion engine when a driver does not put on the helmet and on the other hand, releasing the misfire control only when the driver wears the helmet. CONSTITUTION:A helmet 1 to be put on by a driver is fitted with a battery 3, and a rubber switch 4 and a transmitter 5 as detecting means for the wearing of the helmet 1. On the other hand, the body 2 of a motor-cycle is provided with a receiver 6 for receiving a misfire release signal from the transmitter 5. And a misfire control release circuit 7 including a delay circuit is connected to the receiver 6, thereby releasing a misfire control by the misfire control circuit 8 of an internal combustion engine and enabling the drive of an ignition circuit 9. Also, the misfire control release circuit 7 is connected with a speed detector 10. According to the aforesaid constitution, the ignition circuit 9 is actuated only when a motor-cycle speed is zero and a misfire release signal is received. On the other hand, when the helmet 1 is taken off, the misfire control is made and motor-cycle running is disabled. |
