PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To establish a method for forming a fuel electrode of SOFC, which allows fabrication of a cell excellent in the straightness with a reduced cell warp by lessening the baking contraction. SOLUTION: A NiO/YSZ powder with the grain size adjusted is subjected to a provisional baking process by holding it in a 800-1300 deg.C atmospheric environment for 1-10hr, and the obtained substance is crushed into a mean particle size of 3μm or less and subjected to a reduction process in a 3%-H2 containing N2 atmosphere at 1000 deg.C for five hr, and thus the first reduction powder is prepared. Another NiO/YSZ powder with the grain size adjusted is subjected to a provisional baking process by holding it in a 900-1650 deg.C atmospheric environment for 10hr, and the obtained substance is crushed into a mean particle size of 15μm or less and subjected to a reduction process in a 3%-H2 containing N2 atmosphere at 1000 deg.C for five hr, and thus the second reduct ion powder is prepared. A slurry fabricated from the first reduction powder is coated on an electrolyte, and this is baked in the atmospheric environment, and thereon a slurry fabricated from them second reduction powder is coated, and the resultant is subjected to baking in the atmospheric environment. |
