PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a grease composition improved in high-temperature lubricating properties and a lubrication life by mixing a base oil with a thickener being a diurea compound. SOLUTION: This composition comprises a base oil comprising at least one member selected amount mineral oils, synthetic hydrocarbon oils, ether oils and ester oils, a thickener (e.g. a diurea compound), an extreme pressure agent (e.g. molybdenum dithiocarbamate), an oiliness improver (e.g. polyoxyethylene stearic ester), an antioxidant (e.g. phenyl-1-naphthylamine), a rust preventive (e.g. ammonium salt of organic sulfonic acid) and a metal inactivator (e.g. benzotriazole). The thickener is a diurea compound represented by the formula (wherein R2 is an aromatic hydrocarbon group; R1 and R3 are each a hydrocarbon group or a 9-19C fuse ring hydrocarbon group; and the rate of the fused ring hydrocarbon groups in R1 or R2 is 5mol% or above) and is formulated in an amount of 5-40wt.%, desirably 10-35wt.% based on the entire grease composition. |
