PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an AC generator, which has simple structure, in which no noise is produced and trouble is also reduced and which is clean to environment, by forming a three-phase AC generating section in fixed structure having no rotational section. SOLUTION: An AC generating section 1, in which the six armature coils 8A-8F of an armature 4 are fixed oppositely onto each opposed surface of six fixed field magnets 3A-3F through gaps and three-base ACs are generated, is constituted. On the other hand the AC generating section 1 is configured in such a manner that conduction contact rings 14 and each of first or third contact ring 15-17, in which notches are formed at places mutually displaced at 120 deg., are arranged onto the surface of a cylindrical rotary drum made of an insulator for an interrupter 9 intermittently supplying each field coil of the field magnets 3A-3F with DCs at regular intervals, each field coil is connected to a DC power supply 3, a power switch and leaf springs corresponding to each contact ring, one ends of each armature coil 8A-8F are connected directly, and electromotive force is generated at each three-phase output terminal of the armature coils 8A-8F opposed in an instant when conduction contact rings 21 are passed through the notches of each of first on third contact ring by the revolution of the above-mentioned rotary drum 11 as three-phase output-end connection regarding the other ends. |
