PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the method for managing generation of a data stream to improve the performance of the communication system. SOLUTION: A plurality of header segments received from a high-order layer of a communication stack are copied to a header area in a data stream and then the header segments are being sequentially stored in the header area in the data stream. A data stream buffer list is generated, which is provided with items to refer to the header area in the data stream. The buffer list items to refer to the data segments received from a high-order layer of the communication stack are also stored in the data stream buffer list is generated. The data segments are neither moved nor copied physically to the data stream during the processing by the communication stack.
