PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase restoring force of a lock piece, so as to enhance a dick feeling and securely exhibit an original lock function. SOLUTION: A female housing F1 is provided with a dome 14 to cover the tip of a lock piece 7. A flexible deformable arm 16 projecting rearwards is disposed in the dome 14. An abutting portion 17 projecting downwards and the tip of the arm 16 is provided in the vicinity to the tip of the lock piece 7. During an engagement between male and female housings M1, F1, a hook 10 of the lock piece 7 rides on a lock portion 12 to be oscillated as shown in (A), and accordingly, pushes the abutting portion 17, thereby flexibly deforming the arm 16. Upon regular engagement, the lock piece 7 is restored to its original attitude to be locked as shown in (B). Since the lock piece 7 is energetically restored to its original attitude by the application of the restoring elasticity of the arm 16, the tip of the hook 10 is flung strongly at the upper face of the male housing M1 with a loud sound. |
