PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a document coloring edition method in which the display color of an arbitrary part in a document displayed on a display screen can be easily varied, and the part can be emphasized by color display. SOLUTION: Inputted character information and color information for designating a character color and/or a background color previously set for the character information are stored in a storing means as document information, and the stored character information is displayed on a displaying means in the character color and the background color set by the stored color information. Then, the color edition range of the character color and/or background color of the character information is stored (CRAS) according to the designation of the color edition range of the character information inputted by an edition instruction inputting means, and the instruction of the character color and/or background color inputted from the edition instruction inputting means is received (ECRS), and the character color and/or background color of the stored color information is changed (CTLE) across the color edition range of the character information, and the document information is displayed in the changed character color and background color. |
