PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power receiving unit for a housing which can meed the increase of the capacity of electricity. SOLUTION: A power receiving unit 5 for a housing being equipped with a transformer 10 for stepping down the voltage of a distribution line 2A is provided between the drop-in port 1A being the connection part between the distribution line 2A of a power company and the electric facility of a customer. Since the voltage is stepped down with the transformer 10, a smaller current than usual flows to inside an electric apparatus. Moreover, since a smaller current than the secondary current flows to the primary side of the step-down transformer 10, even the transformer 10 of low step-down factor makes the current supplied from the distribution line 2A enough small, conjointly with the matter of having suppressed the secondary current by step down, so even if the number of electric apparatus increase, the trip of an overcurrent breaker 4 never occurs frequently. |
