<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a copying machine capable of successively forming images on many recording paper even in the case of eliminating the complicated operation that is the work for replenishing the recording paper in a cassette. SOLUTION: As for this image forming device, on several cassette (22, 24, 26 and 28) of the copying machine, respective paper empty sensor 82, 84, 86 and 88, capable of detecting the paper empty is arranged, and moreover, on multiple tray (32), the paper empty sensor 90 capable of detecting that the paper is out from the multiple tray (32) is severally arranged. The device is constituted so as to input these paper empty signals from the paper empty sensor 82, 84, 86, 88 and 90, into CPU 92 for controlling such as an automatic cassette changing mechanism, to interrupt, when the recording paper of a specified size is out from the several cassette (22, 24, 26 and 28), and the multiple tray (32), and moreover to make the copying resumed by simultaneously feeding the paper, when the recording paper of the specified size is loaded the multiple tray (32).</p> |
