PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an illumination device with a light guide, possible to be miniaturized, for improving the uniformity of illumination. SOLUTION: A LED element 31 for a light source is arranged at the side end of a light guide formed of a light transmissive member to diffuse light injected from an incident plane 12 at the end into the light conductor in a diffusion area 11 for emitting the light from an emission plane 13 to a preset direction of illumination. At this time, light injected from the incident plane 12 to the light conductor is prohibited from being injected directly to at least part of the diffusion area 11. |
