PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To record images with superior image density, ink absorption property and light resistance, by adding a compound having an ultraviolet-absorbing activity and a compound having a light-stabilizing activity in the from of a polymer to an ink-receiving layer composition of an ink-jet recording sheet using a cationic polymer. SOLUTION: In an ink-jet recording sheet having an ink-receiving layer on a supporting body, the ink-receiving layer is a composition containing a cationic polymer. A copolymer of a monomer applying the cationic polymer and a monomer having a part with an ultraviolet-absorbing activity or light- stabilizing activity is used as the polymer. The monomer applying the cationic polymer is expressed by a general formula wherein R is a hydrogen atom or methyl group, A is a group-O-(CH2 )n -NR<1> R<2> ((n) is an integer 1-6 and R<1> , R<2> is a hydrogen atom or a C1-6 alkyl group), or a group NR<3> R<4> (R<3> , R<4> is a hydrogen atom or a C1-6 alkyl group). |
