PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a soil discharge mechanism which is provided in a shield excavating machine to vary in the relative position of a plurality of soil discharge mechanisms, and can make effective soil discharge action. SOLUTION: A soil discharge mechanism of a shield excavating machine has severally a sediment take-in port on one end side and a sediment discharge port on the other end side, and a first soil discharge mechanisms 5, 11 for taking-in an excavated sediment from the sediment take-in port to the inside of a machine are installed so that their relative positions may be severally varied. In this case, the soil discharge mechanism has a receiving port to receive the sediment discharged from the sediment discharge ports of a plurality of the first soil discharge mechanisms 5, 11, and at least one set of a second soil discharge mechanism 7 for sending the sediment received from the receiving port to the back side of the shield excavating machine, the sediment discharge ports of the first soil discharge mechanisms 5, 11 and the receiving port of the second soil discharge mechanism 9 are connected through connecting pipes 7a, 11a which can expand and contract in the direction of variation in the relative positions of the first soil discharge mechanisms 5, 11. |
