PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain both an ink for a liquid crystal color filter capable of forming a pattern excellent in surface smoothness without causing piling and a liquid crystal color filter using the ink. SOLUTION: This ink for a liquid crystal color filter contains a polyester- melamine resin having 14,000-26,000 weight-average molecular weight MW. The weight-average molecular weight MW of the polyester-melamine resin before melamine modification is 1,800-3,200. A liquid crystal color filter is obtained by applying a coated film composed of the ink to a transparent substrate. |
