PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable automatic calculation of cable lengths of and to fabricate connection cables efficiently by letting a worker specify necessary data on the image of a digital camera. SOLUTION: The pictures of derives 11 and wiring ducts 12 inside a control panel 10 are taken by a digital camera 6 and displayed on the screen of a personal computer 4. The lengths of cables are automatically calculated by letting a worker specify on the screen the mounted positions of the devices 11 and the coordinate position of the wiring ducts 12 inside the control panel 10. Furthermore, these data are read by an automatic machine control device 21 and work instructions are transmitted to a series of automatic machines comprising a cable-cutting device 22, a cable number marker 23, terminal pressure-connecting devices 24, 25, 26 and a cable-bundling device 27, so that the worker can fabricate connection cables following these instructions. |
