PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a corrosion-resistant glass fiber that is free from B2 O3 and F2 , excellent in resistance to acid or water as well as excellent in devitrifica tion behavior and high in productivity. SOLUTION: This corrosion-resistant glass fiber contains 56-63mol% of SiO2 , 0.5-4.5mol% of TiO2 , 0-4.5mol% of MgO, 1-9mol% of TiO2 +MgO, 4.5-9mol% of Al2 O3 , 18-26mol% of CaO, where 1.5-5.5mol% ofΣRO=ZnO+SrO+BaO where ZnO>=1.5mol%, MgO/ΣRO=0-0.9, 0-1.5mol% of Na2 O, 0-1.5mol% of K2 O, 0-1.5mol% of Li2 O where Na2 O+K2 O+Li2 O<=3mol%, and does not contain B2 O3 and F2 .
