<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the performance of a feedback control TCP network. SOLUTION: A router 65 is made up of a buffer of a prescribed size that applies queuing to each flow and is divided into a plurality of queues 30a-30i, a scheduler that fetches a packet from each buffer according to a prescribed rate and sends the packet to a network, and a control device that receives a reception packet and decides the availability of queues in the buffer denoting the input possibility of the packet to the queue when the queue is available. The control device selects the queues 30a-30i according to a longest queue first scheme, and in the case that the queue is not available, a packet is dropped from a selected queue to make the reception of the packet available, then impartiality of a link is enhanced and a packet throughput is improved.</p> |
