PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately manufacturing design easily and in a short time by relieving a designer's burden in manufacturing design work including process design. SOLUTION: It is discriminated whether or not process data stored beforehand in an external storage device can be carried over according to the feature quantity of shapes (SD5). In the case of possible carryover, the machining process data are taken out, and available tools are set for each machining process (SD6, SD7). By summarizing machining processes for each work process (SD10), and putting available tools together (SD11), the process data including those an machine change and tool change are prepared automatically. By evaluating processing properties by means of simulation or the like and changing a part of data, it is possible to conduct optimization.
