ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHIC TONER, TONER CARTRIDGE AND DEVELOPING SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an electrophotographic toner not causing toner filming over a long period of time even in high-speed development and capable of satisfactory image printing by specifying compressive breaking stress and the amt. of fine toner particles. SOLUTION: An electrophotographic toner having >=0.5kgf/m<2> compressive breaking stress and contg. <=2% fine toner particles of <=5μm particle, diameter is used. Since fine toner particles have been removed, toner filming can be suppressed. In order to suppress the formation of fine toner particles in a developing unit as well as to remove fine toner particles in a toner, the hardness of the toner is increased and the toner is made less liable to break even at the time of holding between carrier particles. The toner used is produced by the conventional known method.
