Pivot bearing for tension lever in chain drive systems

The bearing is for a pivot element (5), e.g. a tension lever. It has a sleeve (11) with a central passage (11C) for a bolt (4) and a concentric cylindrical surface (11A). When the bolt inside the passage is screwed into a threaded bore (13) in a surface (12) on the engine side, the sleeve is fastened to that surface. A pivot guide section (6) on the pivoted end of the element has a bearing passage (9), and the cylindrical surface of the sleeve is turnable in the passage. Stop faces (8A,10A) limit movements of the sleeve in axial direction. This stops the cylindrical surface from moving out of the bearing passage.
