PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the structure of a case fitting part and keep a battery storing case from being an obstacle to riding and getting-off by forming the battery storing case for storing a battery as a power source of an electric motor in such a shape as to surround a column-like frame. SOLUTION: A battery storing case loaded on a motor-driven bicycle is fitted directly to a seat tube, and locked not to be detached from the seat tube by a case fitting part comprising an upper locking part 2a and a lower locking part 2b. The battery storing case 3 is so constructed that the bottom is formed like a U-shaped column, and a recessed part 33 having a U-shaped section is provided in such a manner as to surround the seat tube on the fitting surface side. Further, the battery storing case 3 is provided with a pair of rectangular engagement holes 31 opened in the upper surface, a hook 24 of an upper locking part 2a is engaged with the engagement hole 31, and the lower surface is provided with a resin-made leg part 35 for supporting the battery storing case 3 when it is detached from the bicycle main body. |
