The invention concerns a method of transferring illustrations to substrates by xerocopying via transfer papers which are coated with a polymer compound, by sealing onto the substrate. According to the invention, a transfer paper is used which comprises a machine-finished paper which is suitable for xerocopiers, has a basis weight of between 80 and 150 g/m<2> and is coated with a polyolefin or polyolefin copolymer having a layer thickness of between 20 and 50 g/m<2> and a melt index MFI of between 3 and 22 kg/10 min. at 2.16 kg/190 DEG C. |
