<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent cell outputs from being overlapped at a same time, in the ATM cellification system. SOLUTION: A control memory CM data section 2 stores, denoting a relation between a time slot TS and a virtual path VP to a buffer 1, a write control section 3 manages a write pointer of each VP to generate write address of input data based on the CM data. The input data are stored in a cellification buffer 4, while the data are divided by each VP. A data storage management section 5 manages a storage amount of cells of each VP and a read cell number management section 7 manages number of cells outputted within a unit time. A read control section 6 manages a read pointer of each VP. When the read cell number management section 7 gives a read indication of each VP, a read address of the cellification buffer 4 is generated. A header addition section 8 adds an ATM header to the data from the cellification buffer 4. A data length management section 9 calculates a data length in a frame for each VP, based on CM data.</p> |
