PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charging device which is suitable for charging especially a lithium ion battery. SOLUTION: A charging device has a voltage-detecting means 3 for detecting the voltage of a charging battery, a comparing means 4 for comparing the detected voltage in the voltage-detecting means 3 with a reference value, a charging current adjusting means 8 for adjusting the charging current of the charging battery, and a control means 4 for reducing stepwise by a specified frequency the charging current in the charging current control means 8, according to the output of the comparing means 4. |
