PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handrail utilized without any anxiety even when a balance is lost by a method wherein openings are formed in a state to extend through a surface and the back, a handrail body formed such that a peripheral edge of which an opening is composed forms a grip part, and a handrail mounting part are provided, and a comb tooth-forth part is formed in the edge part. SOLUTION: A universal handrail 1 comprises a handrail body part 2; and a handrail mounting part 3. The handrail body part 2 is composed of a panel body 13 made of a metal and openings 4 extending through a surface and the back are formed in the panel body 13. A comb tooth-form part 6 is formed at a peripheral edge frame 5 of the opening 4, and a grip part 7 is composed of the peripheral edge part 5 and the comb tooth-form part 6. Consecutively, the universal handrail 1 is used as nursing device in various forms by grasping the grip part 7 by a user. Smooth walking and rising are effected by the universal handrail, and in a state that a hand is thrust in the openings 4, the hand is slipped and the grip part 7 situated in a front is gripped. This constitution since the grip part 7 is grasped in a solid state, forms nursing device serving friendly to the user, such as a physically-handicapped person. |
