PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cap of tight-sealed structure being so tight as to prevent water rising by capillarity for a fuel oil tank to be installed at the outside of a house for housing fuel oil for a stove for household use in a cold district. SOLUTION: An external thread is provided at the outer surface of a nipple 1a of an oil-feeding port at the upper face of a tank 1 while an internal thread is provided at the inner surface of a cap 10 for the oil-feeding port to be put on the nipple 1a of the oil-feeding port, and an elastic packing 11 in a disklike shape approximately the same in diameter as the outside diameter of the oil- feeding port nipple 1a is provided at the inside of the oil-feeding port cap 10 so that the packing 11 can be stuck to the upper face of the oil-feeding port nipple 1a when the oil-feeding port cap 10 is screwed down onto the oil-feeding port nipple 1a. |
