<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for treating ash of an electrostatic precipitator wherein combustion ash is prevented from being solidified in a hopper, and the combustion ash in the hopper can be smoothly extracted. SOLUTION: Timing when combustion ash in hoppers 28, 28... is extracted, is set based on a fuel signal 48 according to fuel used in a boiler with a controller 46. That is, when ordinary light oil and heavy oil are used as the fuel, after the combustion ash in the hoppers is accumulated for a long time, the combustion ash may be extracted. However, when fuel causing the combustion ash liable to be solidified in the hoppers 28, 28..., for example, fuel of emulsified supper heavy oil is used in the boiler, a time schedule for non-chargeable hammering is synchronized with a time schedule for extracting ash, and the treatment of the combustion ash is so set as to be extracted just after the non- chargeable hammering. Thereby, the combustion ash in the hoppers 28, 28... is prevented from being solidified.</p> |
