<p>The invention relates to a vehicle steering wheel (1), comprising a hub (4) for mounting in a main shaft (2), a cup-shaped element (5, 6, 7) which is connected with the hub (4), and at least one spoke (8) which connects said cup-shaped element (5, 6, 7) with a rim (9). The invention is characterized in that said hub (4), said cup-shaped element (5, 6, 7) and said spoke (8) are integrally constructed in one single material piece. By means of the invention, an improved steering wheel construction for a vehicle is provided, said construction permitting a simple and cost-effective manufacturing, which is due to the fact that the whole steering wheel (1) can be mannufactured in one single piece. Furthermore, by means of the design of the steering wheel (1), a uniform, i.e. symmetrical, energy-absorption is obtained independent of the turning of the steering wheel (1).</p> |
