Aircraft power plant oil separator

The oil separator, for the gearing of an aircraft power plant, feeds the oil/air mixture into a rotating unit (1) near the rotating axis (3), where it initially moves outwards. An outer guide wall section (4c) deflects the air flow back towards the rotary axis (3) while the oil passes through passage openings (8) in the guide wall out of the rotating assembly.
