PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase adhesion of polyester fibers with a rubber compounded material by a simple one-part adhesion by treating with a treating agent containing a specific polyfunctional hydroxy compound, an aromatic polyepoxy compound, blocked polyisocyanate and resorcin.formalin.rubber latex. SOLUTION: Polyester fibers are treated by a treating agent containing (A) a polyfunctional hydroxy compound having isocyanuric ring skeleton in a molecule [e.g. N,N,N-tris(2,3-dihydroxypropyl)isocyanurate], (B) an aromatic polyepoxy compound (e.g. glycidly ether of phenols.formaldehyde resin), (c) a blocked polyisocyanate compound (e.g. acetoxime blocked diphenylmethane diisocyanate) and (D) a treating agent containing resorcin.formalin.rubber latex (RFL). |
