PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an efficient and effective method for performing a business transaction through a network. SOLUTION: At the time of a distributed electronic business transaction performed through the network 21, a transaction function and sales contents are separated, the transaction function of the electronic business transaction is allocated to an electronic business transaction server 23 managed by a business transaction service provider and the sales contents are allocated to a seller contents server system 22 managed by a seller respectively. The electronic business transaction server 23 stores the profile data of the respective sellers and respective purchasers 25 and a sales contents abstract on the electronic business transaction data base 24. The purchaser 25 utilizes the electronic business transaction server 23, browses and retrieves the information of a product and the seller, withdraws further detailed information on the optional seller contents server 22 corresponding to the result and selects the product desired to be purchased. When a purchase order is sent to the electronic business transaction server 23, the electronic business transaction server 23 starts the settlement or accounts between the seller and the purchaser 25 and starts the processing of ordering the selected product. |
