<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily generate a machining program even for complicated machining and to speedily generate the correct program through trial and error by specifying the arrangement and size of a machining area and defining a machining unit for execution, and then generating a raw material shape after machining by removing the machining area shape of the machining unit. SOLUTION: A machining unit defining and editing part 3 modifies the machining area shape of the machining unit to the arrangement and size indicated on the basis of the raw material shape in a raw material shape data base 10, and stores it in a machining unit data base 11. A raw-material-shape-after- machining generation part 4 generates a raw material shape after machining excluding the machining areas of all machining units stored in the machining unit data base 11 from the raw material shape through collective operation of solid models and stores it in the raw material shape data base 10. Consequently, inputted machining data can speedily be checked by generating the raw material shape after machining when partial machining is defined.</p> |
