PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate object detection errors. SOLUTION: Oscillated waves from an oscillation antenna 3 are reflected by multiple reflective objects and received by a receiving antenna 4, and a mixed signal is generated by a mixing means 7. An FFT means 13 obtains multiple frequency components by Fourier transformation of a mixing signal for every preset cycle. An extraction means 14 discriminates frequency components and reference levels by levels and extracts frequencies corresponding to reflective objects. A constant operation means 15 obtains a reliability constant corresponding to multiple operation conditions individually to the frequency of reflective objects, and accumulates reliability constants for each frequency. A selection means 16 compares cumulative values of reliability constants of the frequency of each reflective object with predetermined reference cumulative values and selects frequencies whose cumulative values are higher than the reference cumulative values. A position operation means 17 computes a vehicle carrying an object of detection and a radar and a relative distance and a relative speed from the selected frequencies.
|
