The invention relates to a cartouche (1) for a hand operable ejector device (E) which dislocates a tappet (8), with back piston-locked filling with a medical substance (S) and a front mouth piece (19) with an opening (20), and a back holding section (21) for accommodating the cartouche (1) in the ejector device (E). In order to improve the cartouche and cartouche allocation, the invention proposes that the holding section (21) is provided with a screw thread formation for fastening the cartouche (1) in the ejector device (E) in the presence of axial dislocation such that the piston (34) comes into the range of action of the tappet (8).
