Pneumatic motor for operating flap, especially tank flap of motor vehicle

A pushrod (4) driven by the pneumatic motor (1) is connected to the flap. It is connected to the piston (3) of the motor located in a sealed chamber (2). The sealed chamber is selectively connected to vacuum or atmospheric pressure through a 3/2 directional valve (7). The 3/2 directional valve is installed in a pipe (5) leading to the chamber. The piston, depending upon the prevailing pressure in the chamber, adopts different positions, the end positions of which determine the closed and open states of the flap.
