Slot connection between two components

The connection has a screw (4) inside a sleeve (3) to slide in a slot (2) in one component (1) and with the screw secured into the other component (5). The sleeve has a wider bore than the screw to enable the screw fitting to cover non-parallel settings between the components. The bottom of the sleeve is convex to locate in a concave widening of the upper part of the threaded hole in the second component. The top of the sleeve has a collar (9) which clamps onto the top of the first component. The top of the collar can be convex to allow the screw to clamp in different tilt position. In all clamping positions the shank of the sleeve is parallel to the slot.
