The present invention relates to an aqueous binding agent dispersion for cathodically precipitable electro-dipcoat paint based on modified epoxide resins containing ammonium groups, obtainable by A) reaction of I) a precursor which can preferably be produced at temperatures of 120 to 180 °C, and even more preferably between 125 and 150 °C, from a) a diepoxide compound or a mixture of diepoxide compounds and b) an aromatic or aliphatic compound, preferably containing hydroxyl, carboxyl, phenyl and/or thiol groups or a mixture of such compounds by reacting the phenolic hydroxyl groups with epoxide groups, II) with at least one organic amine or a mixture of organic amines at reduced addition temperatures of 60 to 130 °C, preferably between 90 and 115 °C, to obtain an epoxide amine adduct, B) by subsequent or simultaneous reaction of the secondary hydroxyl groups with epoxide groups of the epoxide amine adduct obtained in step A) at a temperature of 110 to 150 °C, preferably at 130 °C with optional addition of a catalyzer, C) by adding a preferably solvent-free cross-linking agent or a mixture of various cross-linking agents at a temperature of 150 °C, preferably at 90 to 130 °C, D) optionally by neutralizing preferably by adding acids at temperatures of 90 to 110 °C, E) by dispersing the mixture obtained in steps A to D using water. The invention further relates to a method for the production and use of said dispersion.
|
