<p>A washing machine includes a housing in which is mounted an assembly comprising a drum, an associated drive motor and pref. a balance weight. Pref. a removable clamp arrangement can be fitted to prevent the assembly from moving and knocking against the housing during transport of the washing machine. The clamp arrangement does however allow limited vertical movement of the assembly. The clamp arrangement, which is pref. fitted externally of the housing, can be simply attached and removed without removing the back of the housing.</p> |
