BRANCH PIPE LINING MATERIAL AND ITS MANUFACTURE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a branch pipe lining material which can be inverted and inserted surely into a branch pipe by pressurized fluid in lining the pipe. SOLUTION: A branch pipe lining material 1 is constituted to form a cured flange part 1B in which one end of a cured resin impregnation part 1A which is formed by impregnating a tubular resin adsorbing material with an uncured liquid curable resin is folded back and cured. The whole outer surface of the impregnation part 1A and the whole surface of the flange part 1B or a part of which is connected with the outer surface of the part 1A are coated with an airtight plastic film (coating material) 2. Since the inner surfaces of the part 1A of the material 1 after inversion and the part 1B including the boundary part of them are coated airtightly by the film 2, when pressurized fluid is supplied into the material 1 and the material 1 is inversion-inserted into a branch pipe, the material 1 is always inversion-inserted surely into the branch pipe without any leakage of the pressurized fluid such as compressed air from the boundary between the part 1A and the part 1B.
