PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject composition that contains an isobutylene polymer, a hardening agent, a catalyst and a specific organic compound, as essential components and can give hardened product excellent in heat resistance, electric insulation and chemical resistance. SOLUTION: This composition comprises, as essential components, (A) an isobutylene polymer bearing one or more alkenyl groups that can be hydrosilylated (for example, vinyl group) in its molecule, (B) a hardening agent bearing 2 or more hydrosilyl groups in its molecule (organohydrogenpolysiloxane), (C) a hydrosilylation catalyst (platinum- vinylsiloxane complex) and (D) an organic compound bearing one or more alkenyl or alkynyl groups reactive with hydrosilyl groups (preferably a 6-20Cα-olefin of <=400 molecular weight). The hardened product prepared from this composition is used as a sealant for electric and electronic parts, a variety of coating materials and molding materials.
