PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To hold distribution of gas flowing in a unit cell properly and avoid corrosion of a separator and the cell due to generation of short supply part of a gas amount and operate in stable. SOLUTION: In a phosphoric acid type fuel cell in which a ribs 7 are mounted on a surface opposite to a fuel electrode of a fuel electrode substrate 4A and flow grooves 8A, 8B are formed between the ribs and they are separated by a separation part 9A and fuel gas is made to flow as reciprocal flow, the separation part 9A is formed with a first separation part 11 at supply, discharge side of fuel gas and a second separation part 12 arranged at turning side of the gas and width of the former is narrower than the latter to facilitate transmission of the fuel gas. |
